The King City Civic Association is managed by an administrator, support staff and an elected board of directors.  Fostering an active retirement lifestyle are common areas including Clubhouse, the Crown Center and the Arts and Crafts building, which are home to more than 50 clubs and other organizations.  A challenging nine-hole golf course, championship lawn bowling green, shuffle-board courts, an outdoor pool and an Aquatic Center with a pool, lap pool and spa highlight the association’s first-class facilities.  In addition, a well-staffed, 12,000-volume library offers up-to-date large-print editions, books on tape/CD and many periodicals.

This is a place where you are welcomed if you look old and have gray hair.

It took about five people and one year to build the website "myKCCA.com". Only one person on the group, a board member, built one website. She was in charge. I know this because I talked to her and at the time I have built 50 websites. I did not help in building the website because I would be working with people that don't know how to build a website.

What happened since I moved to King City, Oregon

So far in 8 years!

A female Administrator embezzled about $100,000 in the first year or second year she worked here.

The Crown Center: a pool contractor cost the members of King City, OR, over one million dollars to build a new pool house. Its been closed a few months after the job was complete because of on going repairs and lawsuits against the contractor. This has been going on for about a year or two. I lost count.

It took a few board members with little to no experience to build their new website, mykcca.com in one year. Yes, it took these clowns one year to build an easy website. An experience person could have done this in about a month or sooner.

All the problems that happened and is going to happen is cause by uneducated board members making uneducated decisions.

And you wonder why King City residents are over paying their dues. Its because there are a lot of senior board members that are "what-a-bes" who think they know what they are doing but don't want to admit it.

The Chief of Police Chuck Fessler, at the time (2015 to ?), would hire police officers that were not qualify to be police offices. No other city would hire these police officers but the Chief of Police Chuck Fessler in King City.

The King City police officers would hide in areas for a long period of time.
They would hide in back parking lot behind the Avamere Rehabilitation of King City off hwy 99 in King City.
They would park on the Riverwood Heights road by the TV F&R Station 35 off hwy 99 in King City.
They would park, and still do, in the back of the TV F&R Station 35 off hwy 99 in King City.
Most of the time I see the sheriff SUV parking in the back of the TV F&R Station 35 off hwy 99 in King City.
Don't beleave me? Just look in the back of the TV F&R Station 35 parking lot, as you drive by, and you might see a white SUV with lights on the roof.

I was told by the ex-mayor that King City police were giving traffic tickets in the city of Tigard. Meaning that, that money from those tickets was going to the City of Tigard and not King City.

In King City, since 2015, I see many drivers running through STOP signs and I never see a King City police car near by or giving tickets...WHY?

On April 28 at 2:55 am, a King City Police officer saw me coming out of the Club House in King City. He pulled into the parking lot as I was walking from the entrance way of the Club House. I saw him and kept on walking because I had no reason to stop because I do have 24/7 access to the Club House and the Crown Center, so why should I worry about a police officer stopping me but this one did. I told him up front that I'm always being harassed because I don't look my age. I look about 10 years younger then I am. I'm 57 yrs old. We talked for a short time and that was it. The officer was nice and professional but my point is that I don't need to be stopped every time I leave a place that I have access to 24/7, like the Club House and the Crown Center, NOT FOR ANY REASON unless the officer can prove beyond a shadow of doubt that I did indeed commit a crime. Also, at that time, I'm too tired to answer any questions. I mostly go to the Club House for the internet access, many times a week until about 3:00 am because I don't want to paid for cable or internet at my place. I'm trying to save money. Also, the main reason why I wanted to move to King City is because I thought it would be quieter here.

2018 Home Owner Association Fees: $383.00 per person, per year, $31.91 per month.
2023 Home Owner Association Fees: $1,400.00 per person, per year, $116.66 per month.

This may be way so many people are moving out and selling their homes in King City, Oregon.

This HOA is going crazy!!

The new remodeled indoor pool that cost over $1 million is still closed (Aug 2023). This is what happens when you let the board make big decisions without the right people with good knowledge of finding a license contractor with a good job recorder.

March 7, 2023

• Monthly musical budget overrun: We discussed a recent Treasurer/office
miscommunication that resulted in the Monthly Musical being overpaid
by $600 for their 2023 budget. Since this is a KCCA mistake, we don’t
recommend asking Monthly Musical to give the money back. However,
Mary will contact them to go over what they need to do to make sure
they document all expenditures with the office.

So John Oliver, you can't do any worse!
