Who’s Who
Association Administrator
- Responsible officer for the operation of the Association
- Manages and supervises Association staff and employees
- Exhibits professionalism in carrying out the policies set by the Board
- Exercises diligence as a resource to the Board
- Exhibits loyalty to the Association
- Knows and abides by all governing documents and rules & regulations of the Association
- Serves as liaison between the Association and outside contacts, including governmental entities
The Board of Directors
Subject to the provisions of the Oregon Nonprofit Corporation Act, and any limitations in the Association documents relating to action required to be approved by the Members, the Association shall be managed and all Association powers shall be exercised by, or under the direction of, the Board of Directors.
President
- Chief executive officer (CEO) of the Association
- Subject to the control of the Board, the Board President has general supervision, direction, and control of the business and officers of the Association
- Presides at all meetings of the Board and at all meetings of the Members
- With the consent of the Board, may establish committees with such duties and authority as the Board may deem necessary
Vice President
- Acts in the place of the President in the President’s absence or inability to act
Secretary
- Keeps all records of votes and all minutes of Board and Member meetings at the Association office
- Gives notices to Members as required in Association Bylaws
- Maintains current Association membership register of all owner-members and all resident-members
- Attests, by signature, to the legitimacy of certain documents
Treasurer
- Responsible for reporting the financial affairs of the Association and for presenting the annual budget
- Arranges, subject to board approval, an independent audit of financial affairs
Committees
- Shall be established by and serve at the pleasure of the Board
- Shall report their recommendations to the Board
- Shall keep records of their proceedings and submit them to the Board Secretary
